The course covers various levels from Intermediate 1 to Intermediate 2.Subjects include; use of electronic test equipment, soldering techniques, PLCs, electrical principles, engineering project, information technology, digital electronics and communication

Electronic Test And Measurement Mathematics : Craft 1 Engineering Using Information Technology Electronic Simulation and Testing Combinational Logic Practical Electronics Communication Core Skill Unit Fundamental Electronics Engineering Project Semiconductor Application Soldering and Circuit Assembly Techniques Electrical Principles Application of PLC’s Sequential Logic Mathematics : Craft 2 Robotics Project.

How you’ll learn:

This course comprises demonstrations, lectures, group work, and practical sessions. Your work is assessed throughout the year as part of an on-going learning process and has no end of year examinations.

Moving on:

Progression to HNC

Job options:

Employment in Electronic Manufacturing, Testing or Maintenance Sectors.

Entry requirements

Standard Grade passes or equivalent groups of modules/units or courses at Intermediate 1. Alternatively, relevant work experience/prior learning.
