Heriot Watt University

The programme offers a thorough grounding in the major branches of civil engineering, but with a strong emphasis on the aspects most relevant to the practice of structural engineering and its interface with architectural design. The aim is to produce high quality structural engineers who have an understanding of architecture and an appreciation of the role of architects in the design process, through working with practising engineers and architects. The programme has been designed to be both interesting and exciting, with an option to study abroad in the fourth year.
